Yoga Foundations – A 4 Week Course

The next course starts Wednesday 15th January 2020, 8:05-9:05pm

I am delighted to announce further dates for a Yoga Foundations 4 week course. This introductory course is open to all practitioners of yoga. Whether you are new to yoga or have practised for some time but which to explore in more detail.

We will explore postures, build upon our physical asana practices of Sun Salutations, develop flow and movement within our practice whilst developing our breathing practices and techniques.

Yoga is for everyone! Not necessarily every pace or every pose will suit every person however this course is designed to enable you to investigate what and how you feel, in addition to finding and developing your own practice. This 4-week course will enable you to explore your style and preferences, from which you may wish to build a home physical asana and/or meditation practice.

Wherever you are on your yoga journey this course is suitable for you. Whether you are new to yoga and wish to begin in an informative environment, or you have been practicing for some time and wish to explore your practice in more depth.


Yoga Foundation 2: Building our Practice.

Commences Wednesday 12th February, 8:05-9:05pm for 4 consecutive weeks

at Ambleside Sports Club.

The Sunday Sessions: Yoga & Meditation Workshops

Due to the popularity of my recent Yoga Workshops I am delighted to announce further dates throughout the coming months. These Yoga and Meditation Workshops are designed to revive and restore our sense of physical and emotional calm, promote our wellbeing and provide a space for self-care and connection. Entitled ‘The Sunday Sessions: Yoga & Meditation,’ these workshops are a blend of vinyasa and yin yoga, mindfulness and meditation. Held over two hours on a Sunday evening, The Sunday Sessions will leave you feeling reconnected, revived and ready to face the week ahead.

Our physical asana yoga practice will start with an invigorating vinyasa flow; active and dynamic sequences to exhilarate the mind whilst relieving the body of ay stresses and strains. The practice will then culminate in calming and relaxing Yin Yoga; a slower paced yoga style which perfectly complements our flowing yang practice.

Our intention for both of these sessions is to cultivate feelings of self-connection, restoration and renewal.

No previous experience of yoga and/or meditation is required. The sessions are suitable for all levels of ability and preference.

If you have recently welcomed a baby and are interested in attending then you are welcome to join us from 12 weeks post-delivery. If you’d like to discuss this prior to boking, please do contact me on the email address provided.

The cost of each workshop is £15. Each session is booked individually so if you would like to join us for both dates please ensure your booking reflects this. Booking is essential as spaces are limited to just 9 attendees.
