Thank you for taking the time to look at my website. Wherever you are on your yoga journey I hope that you can find something to suit your requirements.
My relationship with yoga began in 2007 as a means of finding a meaningful, authentic connection with my own body. During this time I enjoyed expert tuition in the Ashtanga Yoga lineage, finding the sense of peace and trust, within and of, my body that arose from the structured synchronicity of the renowned style.
Throughout the transition of pregnancy and parenthood I maintained a more relaxed, intuitive yoga style, providing my body and mind with the space that was required. Today, I personally practise and teach Vinyasa yoga, offering group and private yoga classes for all abilities and preferences, across Warwickshire, England.
I am a Yoga Alliance accredited, Registered Yoga Teacher, having completed my 200hour Yoga Teacher Training Programme with Yoga Quota, Oxford. I am proud to be a part of the Yoga Quota community who’s ethos of spreading the benefits of yoga to those that need it the most, really resonates with me. I continue this within my work as a Yoga Quota Associate Badgeholder; offering free charity yoga classes across Warwickshire.
Professionally, I trained and worked with the National Health Service in England prior to becoming a yoga teacher, qualifying as a Registered Children’s Nurse before specialising in Women’s and Children’s Health and Wellbeing. My extensive training and clinical health practice informs my yoga teaching, utilising my training in anatomy and physiology as a foundation.
Following completion of Pregnancy, Post Natal and Mother and Baby Yoga Training with the wonderful Sally Parkes Yoga and Rainbow Kids Yoga, I co-founded Balance & Bloom in 2017. Balance & Bloom is a collaboration which aims to provide and support families to connect, engage and nurture through Baby Massage and Pregnancy, Baby, Children and Family Yoga.
Building and sustaining a yoga community which is supportive and inclusive is very important to me, enabling everyone to explore their own yoga practice in a welcoming environment. If you have any queries or questions before coming along to a class please do get in touch.
I hope to welcome you to a mat very soon!
